Sahih International
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah , the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
All that is the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifies God, [all] proclaims His transcendence (the lām [of li’Llāhi] is extra; mā is used instead of min in order to indicate the predominance [of non-rational beings]), the King, the Holy, the One Who transcends what does not befit Him, the Mighty, the Wise, in His kingdom and in His actions.Indonesian
Senantiasa bertasbih kepada Allah apa yang ada di langit dan apa yang ada di bumi. Raja, Yang Maha Suci, Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana. Sahih International
It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error -Tafsir al-Jalalayn
It is He Who sent to the unlettered [folk], [among] the Arabs (ummī means ‘one who cannot write or read a book’), a messenger from among them, namely, Muhammad (s), to recite to them His signs, the Qur’ān, and to purify them, to cleanse them from idolatry, and to teach them the Book, the Qur’ān, and wisdom, [in] the rulings that it contains, though indeed (wa-in: in has been softened from the hardened form, with its subject having been omitted, that is to say, [understand it as] wa-innahum) before that, [before] his coming, they had been in manifest error.Indonesian
Dialah yang mengutus kepada kaum yang buta huruf seorang Rasul di antara mereka, yang membacakan ayat-ayat-Nya kepada mereka, mensucikan mereka dan mengajarkan mereka Kitab dan Hikmah (As Sunnah). Dan sesungguhnya mereka sebelumnya benar-benar dalam kesesatan yang nyata, Sahih International
And [to] others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
And [to] others (wa-ākharīna is a supplement to al-ummiyyīna, ‘the unlettered’), that is to say, those who are alive, from among them, and [to] those of them who will come after them, who have not yet joined them, with regard to precedence and merit; and He is the Mighty, the Wise, in His kingdom and in His actions: those [mentioned as coming afterwards] are the Successors (al-tābi‘ūna); and it suffices to mention these [Successors] in order to illustrate the [greater] merit of the Companions, among whom the Prophet (s) was sent, over all those others, of humans and jinn, to whom he was [also] sent and who [believed and] will believe in him up until the Day of Resurrection, for every generation is better than the succeeding one.Indonesian
dan (juga) kepada kaum yang lain dari mereka yang belum berhubungan dengan mereka. Dan Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana. Sahih International
That is the bounty of Allah , which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
That is the bounty of God, which He gives to whom He will — [such as] the Prophet and those mentioned with him — and God is [dispenser] of tremendous bounty.Indonesian
Demikianlah karunia Allah, diberikan-Nya kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya; dan Allah mempunyai karunia yang besar. Sahih International
The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah . And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
The likeness of those who were entrusted with the Torah, those who were charged with implementing it, then failed to uphold it, [then] failed to act in accordance with it, in what pertains to the descriptions of the Prophet (s), and so did not believe in him, is as the likeness of an ass carrying books, in that it does not benefit from them. Evil is the likeness of the people who deny God’s signs, those confirming the truth of the Prophet (s) — (the object of rebuke is omitted but is implied to be hādhā’l-mathalu, ‘this likeness’). And God does not guide the evildoing folk, the disbelievers.Indonesian
Perumpamaan orang-orang yang dipikulkan kepadanya Taurat, kemudian mereka tiada memikulnya adalah seperti keledai yang membawa kitab-kitab yang tebal. Amatlah buruknya perumpamaan kaum yang mendustakan ayat-ayat Allah itu. Dan Allah tiada memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang zalim. Sahih International
Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah , excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful."Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Say: ‘O you of Jewry, if you claim that you are the [favoured] friends of God, to the exclusion of other people, then long for death, if you are truthful’ (in kuntum sādiqīna is semantically connected to tamannū, ‘long for’; as for the two conditions, the first is dependent on the second, that is to say, if you are truthful in your claim that you are the [favoured] friends of God, and given that [such] a friend would prefer the Hereafter [to this world] and that it [the Hereafter] begins at death, then long for it).Indonesian
Katakanlah: "Hai orang-orang yang menganut agama Yahudi, jika kamu mendakwakan bahwa sesungguhnya kamu sajalah kekasih Allah bukan manusia-manusia yang lain, maka harapkanlah kematianmu, jika kamu adalah orang-orang yang benar". Sahih International
But they will not wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
But they will never long for it, because of what their hands have sent ahead, in the way of their disbelief of the Prophet, [which itself is] a necessary consequence of their denial; and God is Knower of the evildoers, the disbelievers.Indonesian
Mereka tiada akan mengharapkan kematian itu selama-lamanya disebabkan kejahatan yang telah mereka perbuat dengan tangan mereka sendiri. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui akan orang-orang yang zalim. Sahih International
Say, "Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do."Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Say: ‘Assuredly the death from which you flee (fa-innahu: the fā’ is extra) will indeed encounter you; then you will be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the visible, [the Knower of] what is [kept] secret and what is in the open, and He will inform you of what you used to do’, whereat He will requite you for it.Indonesian
Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya kematian yang kamu lari daripadanya, maka sesungguhnya kematian itu akan menemui kamu, kemudian kamu akan dikembalikan kepada (Allah), yang mengetahui yang ghaib dan yang nyata, lalu Dia beritakan kepadamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan". Sahih International
O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
O you who believe, when the call for prayer is made on Friday, hasten, set off, to the remembrance of God, to the prayer, and leave aside [all] commerce, suspend [all] such contracts. That is better for you, should you know, that it is better for you, then do it.Indonesian
Hai orang-orang beriman, apabila diseru untuk menunaikan shalat Jum'at, maka bersegeralah kamu kepada mengingat Allah dan tinggalkanlah jual beli. Yang demikian itu lebih baik bagimu jika kamu mengetahui. Sahih International
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah , and remember Allah often that you may succeed.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
And when the prayer is finished, disperse in the land (this is an imperative denoting permissibility) and seek, provision through, God’s bounty, and remember God, with remembrance, frequently, that perhaps you may be successful, [that perhaps] you may be the winners.Indonesian
Apabila telah ditunaikan shalat, maka bertebaranlah kamu di muka bumi; dan carilah karunia Allah dan ingatlah Allah banyak-banyak supaya kamu beruntung. Sahih International
But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers."Tafsir al-Jalalayn
On one occasion the Prophet (s) was delivering the Friday sermon when a caravan arrived and so, as was the custom, drums were beaten to announce its arrival, whereat the people began to leave the mosque [to go to it], all except for twelve men. The following [verse] was then revealed: But when they sight some [opportunity for] business or a diversion, they scatter off towards it, that is, towards the business, since it is what they seek more than diversion, and leave you, during the sermon, standing. Say: ‘That which is with God, in the way of reward, is better, for those who believe, than diversion and commerce. And God is the best of providers’. They say that every person ‘provides for’ (yarzuqu) his dependants, [by which they mean that such a person does so] by means of the provision given by God (min rizqi’Llāhi), exalted be He.Indonesian
Dan apabila mereka melihat perniagaan atau permainan, mereka bubar untuk menuju kepadanya dan mereka tinggalkan kamu sedang berdiri (berkhotbah). Katakanlah: "Apa yang di sisi Allah lebih baik daripada permainan dan perniagaan", dan Allah Sebaik-baik Pemberi rezeki.

Sahih International
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah ." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
When the hypocrites come to you they say, with their tongues, in contradiction of what is in their hearts: ‘We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of God.’ And God knows that you are indeed His Messenger, and God bears witness, He knows, that the hypocrites truly are liars, in what they conceal, that which is contrary to what they say.Indonesian
Apabila orang-orang munafik datang kepadamu, mereka berkata: "Kami mengakui, bahwa sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar Rasul Allah". Dan Allah mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar Rasul-Nya; dan Allah mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya orang-orang munafik itu benar-benar orang pendusta. Sahih International
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah . Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
They have taken their oaths as a shield, as a [means of] protection for their possessions and their lives, and so they have barred, thereby, from the way of God, that is, from using them for the struggle. Evil indeed is that which they are wont to do.Indonesian
Mereka itu menjadikan sumpah mereka sebagai perisai, lalu mereka menghalangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah. Sesungguhnya amat buruklah apa yang telah mereka kerjakan. Sahih International
That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
That, namely, their evil deed, is because they believed, by [affirming faith only with] the tongue, then disbelieved, in [their] hearts, that is to say, they persist in harbouring disbelief in it; therefore their hearts have been stamped, sealed, with disbelief. Hence they do not understand, faith.Indonesian
Yang demikian itu adalah karena bahwa sesungguhnya mereka telah beriman, kemudian menjadi kafir (lagi) lalu hati mereka dikunci mati; karena itu mereka tidak dapat mengerti. Sahih International
And when you see them, their forms please you, and if they speak, you listen to their speech. [They are] as if they were pieces of wood propped up - they think that every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?Tafsir al-Jalalayn
And when you see them, their figures please you, on account of their fairness; and if they speak, you listen to their speech, because of its eloquence. [Yet] they are, by virtue of the enormous size of their figures, [yet] in their lack of comprehension, like blocks of timber (read khushbun or khushubun) [that have been] propped-up, set reclining against a wall. They assume that every cry, made, like a battle-cry or one made to [retrieve] a lost camel, is [directed] against them, because of the [extent of] terror in their hearts, lest something should be revealed deeming their blood licit. They are the enemy, so beware of them, for they communicate your secrets to the disbelievers. May God assail them!, destroy them! How can they deviate?, how can they be turned away from faith after the proofs [for it] have been established?Indonesian
Dan apabila kamu melihat mereka, tubuh-tubuh mereka menjadikan kamu kagum. Dan jika mereka berkata kamu mendengarkan perkataan mereka. Mereka adalah seakan-akan kayu yang tersandar. Mereka mengira bahwa tiap-tiap teriakan yang keras ditujukan kepada mereka. Mereka itulah musuh (yang sebenarnya) maka waspadalah terhadap mereka; semoga Allah membinasakan mereka. Bagaimanakah mereka sampai dipalingkan (dari kebenaran)? Sahih International
And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you," they turn their heads aside and you see them evading while they are arrogant.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
And when it is said to them, ‘Come, offer apologies, and God’s Messenger will ask forgiveness for you’, they twist (read lawwaw or lawū), they turn, their heads, and you see them turning away, rejecting this [offer], disdainful.Indonesian
Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: Marilah (beriman), agar Rasulullah memintakan ampunan bagimu, mereka membuang muka mereka dan kamu lihat mereka berpaling sedang mereka menyombongkan diri. Sahih International
It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; never will Allah forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
It will be the same for them, whether you ask forgiveness for them (a’staghfarta: the interrogative hamza here has taken the place of the conjunctive hamza) or do not ask forgiveness for them: God will never forgive them. Indeed God does not guide the immoral folk.Indonesian
Sama saja bagi mereka, kamu mintakan ampunan atau tidak kamu mintakan ampunan bagi mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang fasik. Sahih International
They are the ones who say, "Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disband." And to Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
They are the ones who say, to their companions from among the Helpers: ‘Do not expend on those who are with the Messenger of God, from among the Emigrants, until they scatter off’, until they part with him. Yet to God belong the treasuries of the heavens and the earth, with [what they contain of] provision, and so He is the provider for the Emigrants and others, but the hypocrites do not understand.Indonesian
Mereka orang-orang yang mengatakan (kepada orang-orang Anshar): "Janganlah kamu memberikan perbelanjaan kepada orang-orang (Muhajirin) yang ada disisi Rasulullah supaya mereka bubar (meninggalkan Rasulullah)". Padahal kepunyaan Allah-lah perbendaharaan langit dan bumi, tetapi orang-orang munafik itu tidak memahami. Sahih International
They say, "If we return to al-Madinah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
They say, ‘Surely if we return, from the raid against the Banū al-Mustaliq, to Medina, the powerful, by which they meant themselves, will [soon] expel from it the weaker’, by which they meant the believers. Yet [the real] might, victory, belongs to God and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know, that.Indonesian
Mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya jika kita telah kembali ke Madinah, benar-benar orang yang kuat akan mengusir orang-orang yang lemah dari padanya". Padahal kekuatan itu hanyalah bagi Allah, bagi Rasul-Nya dan bagi orang-orang mukmin, tetapi orang-orang munafik itu tiada mengetahui. Sahih International
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah . And whoever does that - then those are the losers.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
O you who believe, do not let your possessions and your children divert you, distract you, from the remembrance of God, [from] the five prayers; for whoever does that — it is they who are the losers.Indonesian
Hai orang-orang beriman, janganlah hartamu dan anak-anakmu melalaikan kamu dari mengingat Allah. Barangsiapa yang berbuat demikian maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang merugi. Sahih International
And spend [in the way of Allah ] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous."Tafsir al-Jalalayn
And expend, in alms, of that with which We have provided you before death comes to any of you, whereat he will say, ‘My Lord, if only (law-lā means hal-lā, ‘why [do You] not’; or the lā is extra and the law is optative) You would reprieve me for a short time so that I might give charity (assaddaq: the original tā’ [of atasaddaqa] has been assimilated with the sād), that I might offer alms, and become one of the righteous!’, by making the Pilgrimage. Ibn ‘Abbās, may God be pleased with both [him and his father], said, ‘Every person who has fallen short of [his duty regarding] alms and the Pilgrimage will ask to be returned [to this world] at the moment of death’.Indonesian
Dan belanjakanlah sebagian dari apa yang telah Kami berikan kepadamu sebelum datang kematian kepada salah seorang di antara kamu; lalu ia berkata: "Ya Rabb-ku, mengapa Engkau tidak menangguhkan (kematian)ku sampai waktu yang dekat, yang menyebabkan aku dapat bersedekah dan aku termasuk orang-orang yang saleh?" Sahih International
But never will Allah delay a soul when its time has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
But God will never reprieve a soul when its term has come. And God is Aware of what you do (ta‘malūna; also read [as the third person plural] ya‘malūna, ‘they do’).Indonesian
Dan Allah sekali-kali tidak akan menangguhkan (kematian) seseorang apabila telah datang waktu kematiannya. Dan Allah Maha Mengenal apa yang kamu kerjakan.

Sahih International
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah . To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifies God, [everything] proclaims His transcendence (the lām [of li’Llāhi] is extra; mā is used instead of min in order to indicate the predominance [of non-rational beings]). Bertasbih kepada Allah apa yang ada di langit dan apa yang ada di bumi; hanya Allah lah yang mempunyai semua kerajaan dan semua pujian, dan Dia Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu. Sahih International
It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And Allah , of what you do, is Seeing.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
It is He Who created you. Then some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers, in [terms of] your original disposition; then He makes you die and brings you back to life in that same [disposition]; and God is Seer of what you do. Indonesian
Dialah yang menciptakan kamu maka di antara kamu ada yang kafir dan di antaramu ada yang mukmin. Dan Allah Maha Melihat apa yang kamu kerjakan. Sahih International
He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
He created the heavens and the earth with the truth, and He shaped you and made your shapes excellent, for He made the human form to be the best of forms; and to Him is the journey’s end. Indonesian
Dia menciptakan langit dan bumi dengan haq. Dia membentuk rupamu dan dibaguskan-Nya rupamu itu dan hanya kepada Allah-lah kembali(mu). Sahih International
He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
He knows all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you hide and what you disclose, and God is Knower of what is in the breasts, in terms of the secrets and convictions they contain. Indonesian
Dia mengetahui apa yang ada di langit dan di bumi dan mengetahui apa yang kamu rahasiakan dan yang kamu nyatakan. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui segala isi hati. Sahih International
Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Has there not come to you, O disbelievers of Mecca, the tidings, the story, of those who disbelieved before and thus tasted the evil consequences of their conduct?, [they tasted] the punishment for disbelief in this world. And there will be for them, in the Hereafter, a painful chastisement? Indonesian
Apakah belum datang kepadamu (hai orang-orang kafir) berita orang-orang kafir terdahulu. Maka mereka telah merasakan akibat yang buruk dari perbuatan mereka dan mereka memperoleh azab yang pedih. Sahih International
That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" and disbelieved and turned away. And Allah dispensed [with them]; and Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
That, chastisement in this world, is because (bi-annahu contains the pronoun of the matter) their messengers used to bring them clear signs, manifest proofs for [the validity of] faith, but they said, ‘Shall [mere] humans (basharan is meant as generic) be our guides?’ So they disbelieved and turned away, from faith, and God was independent, [without need] of their faith. And God is Independent, [without need] of His creatures, Praised, praiseworthy in His actions. Indonesian
Yang demikian itu adalah karena sesungguhnya telah datang kepada mereka Rasul-Rasul mereka membawa keterangan-keterangan lalu mereka berkata: "Apakah manusia yang akan memberi petunjuk kepada kami?" lalu mereka ingkar dan berpaling; dan Allah tidak memerlukan (mereka). Dan Allah Maha Kaya lagi Maha Terpuji. Sahih International
Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah , is easy."Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Those who disbelieve claim that (an is softened, its subject having been omitted, that is to say, annahum) they will never be resurrected. Say: ‘Yes indeed, by my Lord! You will be resurrected; then you will be informed of what you did. And that is easy for God’. Indonesian
Orang-orang yang kafir mengatakan bahwa mereka sekali-kali tidak akan dibangkitkan. Katakanlah: "Memang, demi Tuhanku, benar-benar kamu akan dibangkitkan, kemudian akan diberitakan kepadamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan". Yang demikian itu adalah mudah bagi Allah. Sahih International
So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Qur'an which We have sent down. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
So believe in God and His Messenger and the Light, the Qur’ān, which We have revealed. And God is Aware of what you do. Indonesian
Maka berimanlah kamu kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan kepada cahaya (Al-Quran) yang telah Kami turunkan. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan. Sahih International
The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Mention, the day when He will gather you for the Day of Gathering, the Day of Resurrection, that will be the Day of Dispossession, [on which] the believers will dupe the disbelievers by occupying [what would have been] their places in Paradise, had they believed, as well as [appropriating] their [believing] spouses. And [as for] those who believe in God and act righteously, He will absolve them of their misdeeds and admit them into gardens underneath which rivers flow (a variant reading for both verbs has the first person plural) wherein they will abide. That is the supreme triumph. Indonesian
(Ingatlah) hari (dimana) Allah mengumpulkan kamu pada hari pengumpulan, itulah hari dinampakkan kesalahan-kesalahan. Dan barangsiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan beramal saleh, niscaya Allah akan menutupi kesalahan-kesalahannya dan memasukkannya ke dalam jannah yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Itulah keberuntungan yang besar. Sahih International
But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein; and wretched is the destination.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
And [as for] those who disbelieved and denied Our signs — the Qur’ān — those, they will be the inhabitants of the Fire, wherein they will abide. And [what] an evil journey’s end!, it is. Indonesian
Dan orang-orang yang kafir dan mendustakan ayat-ayat Kami, mereka itulah penghuni-penghuni neraka, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat kembali. Sahih International
No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah . And whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things.Tafsir al-Jalalayn
No affliction strikes except by the leave of God, by His decree. And whoever believes in God, in His saying that every affliction is by His decreeing [it], He will guide his heart, to endure it [patiently]. And God is Knower of all things. Indonesian
