82:1

Sahih International

When the sky breaks apart

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

When the heaven is split open, [when it is] rent asunder,

Apabila langit terbelah,

82:2

And when the stars fall, scattering,

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

and when the stars are dispersed, [when] they expire and begin to fall,

dan apabila bintang-bintang jatuh berserakan,

82:3

And when the seas are erupted

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

and when the seas are burst forth, released one upon the other, forming one mass of water, so that the sweet [water] mixes with the salty;

dan apabila lautan menjadikan meluap,

82:4

And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,

and when the tombs are overturned, [when] their earth [above them] is dug up and its dead are raised (the response to idhā, ‘when’, and all that is supplemented thereto is [the following]):

dan apabila kuburan-kuburan dibongkar,

82:5

Sahih International

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

a soul, every soul, will know, at the time of the [occurrence of the] things mentioned, which is the Day of Resurrection, what it has sent ahead, in the way of deeds, and, what [it has], left behind, of these and did not do.

Indonesian

maka tiap-tiap jiwa akan mengetahui apa yang telah dikerjakan dan yang dilalaikannya.

82:6

Sahih International

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

O, disbelieving, man! What has deceived you with regard to your generous Lord?, so that you have disobeyed Him,

Indonesian

Hai manusia, apakah yang telah memperdayakan kamu (berbuat durhaka) terhadap Tuhanmu Yang Maha Pemurah.

82:7

Sahih International

Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

Who created you, when you were not, then made you upright, in your created form, with sound limbs, then proportioned you (read fa-‘adalak or fa-‘addalak), making you symmetrical in shape, with well-proportioned parts, so that no hand or leg is longer than the other,

Yang telah menciptakan kamu lalu menyempurnakan kejadianmu dan menjadikan (susunan tubuh)mu seimbang,

82:8

Sahih International

In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

assembling you in whatever (mā is a relative) form He will?

Indonesian

dalam bentuk apa saja yang Dia kehendaki, Dia menyusun tubuhmu.

82:9

Sahih International

No! But you deny the Recompense.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

No indeed! — a deterrent against letting oneself be misled by the generosity of God, exalted be He. Rather you, that is, disbelievers of Mecca, deny Judgement, requital for deeds;

Bukan hanya durhaka saja, bahkan kamu mendustakan hari pembalasan.

82:10

Sahih International

And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

Yet lo! there are above you watchers, from among the angels, over your deeds,

Padahal sesungguhnya bagi kamu ada (malaikat-malaikat) yang mengawasi (pekerjaanmu),

82:11

Sahih International

Noble and recording;

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

noble, in God’s sight, writers, of these [deeds],

Indonesian

yang mulia (di sisi Allah) dan mencatat (pekerjaan-pekerjaanmu itu),

82:12

Sahih International

They know whatever you do.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

who know whatever you do, all of it.

mereka mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

82:13

Sahih International

Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

Indeed the pious, the believers who are sincere in their faith, shall be amid bliss, [in] Paradise,

Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang banyak berbakti benar-benar berada dalam surga yang penuh kenikmatan,

82:14

Sahih International

And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

and indeed the profligates, the disbelievers, shall be in Hell-fire, a scorching fire,

dan sesungguhnya orang-orang yang durhaka benar-benar berada dalam neraka.

82:15

Sahih International

They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,

entering it, to suffer its heat, on the Day of Judgement, [the Day of] Requital,

Mereka masuk ke dalamnya pada hari pembalasan.

82:16

Sahih International

And never therefrom will they be absent.

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

and they shall not be absent from it, [they shall not] be taken out of it.

Dan mereka sekali-kali tidak dapat keluar dari neraka itu.

82:17

And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

And what would show you, [what would] inform you, what the Day of Judgement is?

Tahukah kamu apakah hari pembalasan itu?

82:18

Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

Again, what would show you what the Day of Judgement is? — [repeated] to emphasise its enormity.

Sekali lagi, tahukah kamu apakah hari pembalasan itu?

82:19

Sahih International

It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah .

Tafsir al-Jalalayn

[It is] a day (read yawmu) when no soul will be of any avail, any use, to another soul, and the [absolute] command on that day will be God’s: there will be no [power of] command for anyone other than Him thereat, in other words, none has been given the power to mediate thereupon, in contrast to [situations] in this world.

Indonesian

(Yaitu) hari (ketika) seseorang tidak berdaya sedikitpun untuk menolong orang lain. Dan segala urusan pada hari itu dalam kekuasaan Allah.
